Parque Güell e Bairro Gótico } Park Güell e Gothic Quarter

 Ainda no sábado de fim-de-semana em Barcelona

Aproveitámos o final do dia para uma visita ao famoso Parque Güell. Ali percebemos que estamos em Barcelona. As imagens de postal bem conhecidas de Barcelona vêm daqui, do parque (e da Sagrada Família). Ao longo de todo o parque é possível encontrar Gaudí. Podem-se ver mosaicos coloridos ou colunas com formas incríveis, tudo isto em perfeita harmonia com a envolvência dos jardins. Por isto, o Parque foi uma verdadeira surpresa. É enorme, ocupa quase 20 hectares e está localizado na parte superior da cidade. Da zona mais alta é possível ter uma vista panorâmica da cidade de Barcelona. Em 1984, a UNESCO nomeou o Parque Güell como um monumento artístico de protecção internacional.

 A noite foi caindo e o parque fechou. A lua estava cheia.

 

On Saturday the week-end in Barcelona

We took the end of the day for a visit to the famous Park Güell. Here we find ourselves in Barcelona. The postcards of Barcelona are from here, from the park (and the Holy Family). Throughout the park you can find Gaudi. You can see colorful mosaics and columns with incredible shapes, all in perfect harmony with the surroundings of the gardens. For this reason, the park was a real surprise. It is huge, occupying almost 20 acres and is located at the top of the city. The higher zone can have a panoramic view of Barcelona. In 1984, UNESCO named the Park Güell as an artistic monument of international protection.

The night was falling and the park closed. The moon was full.

A noite foi passada na zona antiga, Bairro Gótico. É o centro de tudo em Barcelona. É um bairro rodeado de muralhas romanas e é aqui que se encontra a Catedral de Barcelona.

Na verdade a noite parecia dia com a quantidade de gente e o movimento que existe nas ruas. As lojas estão abertas e as pessoas enchem-nas...os bares e pubs acumulam gente até à porta e rua. Barcelona acordou da rotina do dia-a-dia e vive-se agora. O Bairro Gótico cheio de ruas labirinticas sujas e escuras enchem-se de pessoas que ocupam todo o tipo de lojas.

The night was spent in the old Gothic Quarter. It's the center of Barcelona. It's a neighborhood surrounded by Roman walls and here is the Cathedral of Barcelona.

In fact, the night seemed to day with the amount of people and movement that exists in the streets. The shops are open and people fill in the bars and pubs to the door and the street. Barcelona awakes from the routine of day-to-day and lives now. The Gothic quarter full of dirty and dark labyrinthine streets fill out of people in  all sorts of stores.
