A família Borromeo foi a responsável pela construção deste grandioso palácio e jardins. Começou o pai e deu o nome da sua esposa:  Ilha Isabella, com o tempo passou a diminutivo Bella. Acabaram os filhos a construção mudando por completo o projecto original. O objectivo era que parecesse um barco a navegar no lago.

O palácio é cheio de grandes salões e os jardins sumptuosos.

Foi aqui que fiquei noiva do meu "pestinha".

The Borromeo family was responsible for the construction of this grand palace and gardens. Began with the father that gave his wife name, Isabella Island over the time became the short name Bella. The soons finished building changing the original design. The aim was to look like a boat sailing in the lake.
 

The palace is filled with large rooms and lush gardens.
It was here that I got engaged to my kid.

A caminho de Stresa, uma pequena cidade junto ao Lago Maggiore. Uma mistura de beleza, sossego e natureza.

Outrora uma pequena vila pescatória hoje um reencontro com a arte e passagem para a Isola Bella e Isola Pescatori.

Um teleférico leva-nos em 20 minutos ao Monte Mottarone (1,491 mt de altura).

On the way to Stresa, a small town near Lake Maggiore. A blend of beauty, tranquility and nature.

Once a small pescatori village today a renuion of art and transition to the Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori.
 

  A cable car takes us in 20 minutes to Mount Mottarone (1.491 meters high).
